We continue to monitor developments related to coronavirus (COVID-19), and want you to know we are committed to keeping our customers and team members informed during this uncertain time. We encourage you to visit this page for the latest updates and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
As a precaution, we are following CDC guidelines for increased cleaning of locations, including ATM keypads, drive thrus and high-touch surfaces. In addition to these measures, we are protecting our team members and customers by requiring face coverings inside our locations and promoting social distancing.
We know many of our customers may be impacted financially. We’re committed to providing assistance options, including loan payment deferrals for individuals and businesses. Please contact your local banker or our Customer Care Center if you are a current customer affected by the coronavirus and need assistance.
Main Street Lending ProgramThe Federal Reserve established the Main Street Lending Program (MSLP) to assist eligible small and medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations that were in good financial standing prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and that are in need of financial assistance.
Administered by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the program features three loan facilities for for-profit businesses and two loan facilities for non-profits. Interested businesses can learn more about the program, eligibility requirements and terms on the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s website bostonfed.org/mslp. Term sheets for each facility and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) with additional information on eligibility requirements and conditions are available on the Federal Reserve’s Main Street Lending page. Please note, non-profit loan facilities are not yet operational.
SouthState will be participating and assisting existing commercial borrowers who are interested in the program. Businesses are encouraged to review the terms of the program and Facility Borrower Certifications and Covenants located on this page, as businesses will be required to provide specific certifications and covenants when applying for one of the loan facilities. Businesses are encouraged to consult their financial and legal advisors to determine if the program is the right fit for them. Interested businesses should then contact their SouthState banker for assistance.
