About Janice N. Robinson, CWS®

Janice N. Robinson is a native of Greenville, SC. She is a Certified Wealth Strategist and Senior Vice President, and serves clients as a Private Banker at South State Bank. She has been with the firm since 2009. Prior experience included Senior Vice President, private banker with Bank of America in their Premier Banking and Investment Group for eight years. Previous experience includes serving as the senior banking executive for Beaufort County where she was actively involved in her community representing her firm and working with various lines of business. She has eighteen years of industry experience.

Janice attended and studied sociology at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Janice’s financial philosophy includes a holistic approach to wealth management which includes multi-generational involvement. She utilizes the client’s wishes and desires for wealth planning, and incorporates her client’s needs to fit their family’s lifestyle and beliefs.

Janice served as national volunteer chairman for the corporation’s volunteer efforts for her previous company; was chosen to serve as a national private bank trainer for peers and received the Spirit National Award of Excellence in Private Banking for six years. Janice was chosen to be one of twelve associates nationwide where she helped design the face of the retail channels presence in how service excellence was delivered across the company’s footprint. She is active in her local Chamber of Commerce and serves on the government affairs committee. Janice is a realtor affiliate member of the local Realtor Association. She has served as an elected school board trustee for the largest school board in the southeast, where she was awarded S.C.State School Board Member of the Year and won several state awards for her leadership.

She has been involved in many charitable organizations including the American Red Cross Clara Barton Society, United Way, and serves on the advisory board of the Boys and Girls Club in her home city.

Janice and her husband David enjoy boating, golf, working in their flower gardens and spending time with their three grandchildren.
