About M. Franklin Sanders,
Frank Sanders earned his B.A. from Wofford College in 1977. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law with his J.D. in 1985. He has been a member of the SC Bar Association since 1985 and earned his CTFA designation in 2007.
Frank began his career in the financial services industry in 1985 and joined South State Bank in 2009. With over 25 years as a Trust Officer, he has administered Irrevocable and Revocable Trusts, settled estates, managed escrow accounts (particularly in merger and acquisition scenarios). Frank has also provided estate planning and financial planning advice including estate fiduciary and personal income tax advice.
Frank is a member of the American Bankers Association, the Spartanburg Estate Planning Council and the Greenville Estate Planning Council. He is the Immediate Past President of the Spartanburg County Historical Association. He is a board member at large of the Belin Trust and immediate past chairman of the Stewardship Committee for Trinity United Methodist Church.
Frank lives in Spartanburg with his wife and has two children. He enjoys golf, fishing, collecting antiques, reading, travel, gardening and crossword puzzles.
