About Kathryn C. Diminich, CPA
Kathryn is a Private Wealth Planning Advisor for South State Wealth. She partners with clients to help identify, monitor and achieve their goals by creating customized financial plans delivered in real-time. Kathryn also advises clients with navigating the estate, gift and income tax ramifications of their estate and financial plans.
Kathryn began her career with a national public accounting firm in Greenville, SC in 1999. She earned her designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2001. Kathryn’s career in public accounting centered around the financial needs of high-net-worth individuals and family groups, including wealth transfer tax planning, income tax planning, philanthropic planning, business succession planning and financial planning. She also assisted clients as a Wealth Planning Strategist for a regional bank. Kathryn is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master in Professional Accountancy (Taxation).
Kathryn is a member of the Charleston Estate Planning Council (Board Member), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Bankers Association.
Kathryn is a graduate of the Riley Institute at Furman University’s Fall 2016 Diversity Leaders Initiative (DLI) class, a Partner in Social Venture Partners (SVP) – Charleston, a member of the Technical Advisory Group of the Porter-Gaud School, a member of the Professional Advisory Group with the Coastal Community Foundation and a member of the Trident United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council. Kathryn is a past board member of YEScarolina and a former Mentor with the College of Charleston’s MBA program.
Kathryn is a native of Mount Pleasant, SC and lives there now with her husband and their three children. She enjoys living in one of the most scenic places in the world and spending time with her family.
