Atlantic Capital customers should have received a Welcome Booklet and Account Information Booklet with additional details regarding the transition to SouthState including any changes to products and services. We encourage you to review these booklets, as well as the information below under How Your Services are Changing.   • What’s New

    • ACE for Treasury customers will transition to Treasury Navigator® for Commercial. You’ll access your business accounts through the Treasury Navigator® Secure Browser and Mobile App. You will be able to access multiple services through your desktop, laptop or tablet such as Remote Deposit Capture, BillPay, ACH, Positive Pay, Wire Transfers and Lockbox.
    • ACE for Business customers will transition to Treasury Navigator® for Business. You will access your accounts and services through Treasury Navigator® directly form the home page of SouthStateBank.com or through the Treasury Navigator® Mobile App.
    • Treasury Navigator® for Commercial includes new reporting features including a Returned Check Notice Report and Check Image Export. You’ll also have the ability to group multiple bank statements into one report for downloading.
  • What’s Changing

    • Although there will be some differences, the features, functionality, and navigation should be familiar to you.
    • The cut-off time for same-day credit for account transfers will be extended to 9 p.m. ET.
    • Loan statements, with the exception of SBA 7a, PPP and USDA loans, will be accessible through Treasury Navigator® for Commercial; however, an email notification will not be sent once the statement becomes available.
    • Some BAI2 file codes and descriptions will be updated. Please reference the chart here to identify changes in how your transactions and account activity will display.
  • Customer Action Items

    • Review and accept the SouthState Treasury Management Master Service Agreement to gain access to Treasury Navigator® if you have not already. (The Agreement was sent to a designated authorized account signer.)
    • Download the SouthState Treasury Navigator Secure Browser by following the instructions in the Secure Browser Download Guide available here. (Required of ACE for Treasury users only.)
  • Important Things to Know

    • Continue using ACE until you transition to Treasury Navigator®.
    • ACE will be retired at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, July 22. You will be able to access Treasury Navigator® on Monday, July 25.
    • ACE for Treasury customers will receive a new Activation Key to access Treasury Navigator® for Commercial over the conversion weekend (July 22-July 24).
    • ACE for Business customers will receive a Temporary Password to access Treasury Navigator® for Business over the conversion weekend (July 22-July 24). User IDs will remain the same.
    • Statement and check image history may be limited immediately following the transition to Treasury Navigator®. Please print and/or save any history you may need from ACE before July 22.
  • What’s New

    • Although 90 days of ACH payment history will convert to Treasury Navigator® from ACE, up to 18 months of payment history will begin to build within Treasury Navigator starting July 25.
  • What's Changing

    • The Customer Activity Report (CAR) in ACE for Treasury will be replaced with the ACH Return Item Notice/NOC Report in Treasury Navigator® for Commercial. You will be notified via email from [email protected] when the ACH Return Item Notice/NOC Report contains items for viewing. The report is accessible within Treasury Navigator.
    • ACH credits submitted through Treasury Navigator will have a default lead time of two business days for the effective date. Change the default date and submit ACH activity one business day prior to the effective date to send credits with a one business day lead time.
    • Treasury Navigator® for Business users who submit ACH credits with the default lead time of two business days will see a memo debit on their deposit account on the date of submission.
    • If your ACH processing is dependent upon having sufficient funds in your account, and your account has insufficient funds, the system will continue to check your available account balance throughout the day, up until the effective date. If funds are not available by the effective date, the entries will not be processed. In the event that you want to cancel these ACH entries and issue funds via an alternate method, please contact Treasury Services Support to ensure the original ACH payments are not sent if/when funds become available.
  • Customer Action Items

    • We encourage you to download and save your payment history within ACE prior to July 22.
  • Important Things to Know

    • Existing ACH limits, templates and recurring ACH batches will convert to Treasury Navigator®.
  • What’s New

    • Although 90 days of wire payment history will convert to Treasury Navigator® from ACE, up to 18 months of payment history will begin to build within Treasury Navigator® starting July 25.
  • What's Changing

    • Wire cut-off times will be extended:
      • Incoming – 6 p.m. ET
      • Domestic Outgoing – 6 p.m. ET 
      • International Outgoing – 5 p.m. ET
    • Wire Notifications will be sent through Treasury Navigator® for Commercial beginning July 25 and will be called Wire Alerts.
  • Customer Action Items

    • Future dated wire transfers will not convert to Treasury Navigator®. On July 25, you will need to set these up again within Treasury Navigator®.
    • Beginning July 25, please be sure to include the SouthState ABA/Routing Number, 063114030, in your incoming wire transfer instructions for net-new wire transfers.
    • If you initiate Wire Drawdowns in ACE, please be sure to notify clients and the receiving financial institution that effective Monday, July 25, 2022, Wire Drawdowns will be received from SouthState with an ABA/Routing Number of 0631144030. This is important to complete to avoid rejection of Wire Drawdown Requests.
  • Important Things to Know

    • Existing wire transfers and templates will convert to Treasury Navigator.
    • Foreign currency wires are available through Treasury Navigator® for Commercial. SouthState has the ability to receive wire transfers in Euros, British Pound Sterling, and Canadian Dollars. Click here for wire instructions for these types of currencies.
    • When initiating foreign currency wires in Treasury Navigator® for Commercial that are $20,000 or greater, you have the option to contact the SouthState Foreign Currency Transactions Service Team ([email protected] or (888) 571-2810) to obtain a more competitive exchange rate. Detailed instructions can be found in the Treasury Navigator® for Commercial File Vault.
  • What’s New

    • ACH and Check Positive Pay exception notifications will be sent at 11 a.m. ET, followed by a reminder notification. You will only receive a notification if you have items for which you need to provide a decision.
    • The deadline to upload a Check Positive Pay issue file for same day processing will be extended to 11:55 p.m. ET, beginning July 25.
  • What's Changing

    • Positive Pay will be accessible through Treasury Navigator® for Commercial via the Control & Recon tab (Stops & Pos Pay tab in ACE) on Monday, July 25.
  • Customer Action Items

    • Check issue files should be uploaded to ACE by 8 p.m. ET on Friday, July 22, 2022 in order to be processed on schedule.
    • No new ACH payments/batches should be generated in ACE after July 21, 2022. And, all ACH payments/batches scheduled through ACE must have a settlement date of Friday, July 22, 2022 or earlier.
    • To ensure timely processing, payroll files with a posting date of July 22, 2022, must be submitted by July 21.
  • Important Things to Know

    • The decision deadline will remain at 4:30 p.m. ET.
    • The default decision for ACH Positive Pay will remain as “return.”
    • Check Positive Pay issue files uploaded to ACE prior to July 22 will be used for payment validation but will not be viewable within Treasury Navigator® for Commercial.
  • What's Changing

    • Generally, both RDC and mobile deposits received and accepted prior to 9 p.m. ET are processed on the business day of receipt and acceptance.
    • RDC deposits made prior to 9 p.m. ET will memo post to accounts throughout the day as they are made.
  • Customer Action Items

    • Prior to July 22, please download and/or save any RDC transaction history and images you wish to keep for your records. It will not convert to Treasury Navigator® for Commercial.
  • Important Things to Know

    • Existing RDC and mobile deposit limits will convert to Treasury Navigator®.
  • What's Changing

    • If you have an analysis account, the Net Analysis Charge (if any) will be debited from your account on the 5th business day of the following month.
    • The analysis statement will be available after the 5th business day of the month within Treasury Navigator®.
  • Customer Action Items

    • Atlantic Capital Online BillPay payees and payments, including recurring payments and eBills, will transfer to SouthState BillPay. On July 25, please verify your payee information and payment dates in SouthState BillPay.
    • Approximately six months of online bill payment history will be available within SouthState BillPay. Prior to July 22, we encourage you to print and/or save any additional history, payees and payments you may need.
  • Important Things to Know

    • If you use BillPay through ACE, you will be unable to initiate any new online or mobile bill payments from Friday, July 22 at 5 p.m. ET until the service becomes available within Treasury Navigator® Monday morning, July 25.
    • If you previously scheduled a bill to be paid during this time, it will still be paid as scheduled.
  • What’s New

    • Treasury Navigator® supports Direct Connect through Quicken/QuickBooks. If you wish to use Quicken or QuickBooks Direct Connect via Treasury Navigator®, instead of maintaining a separate SouthState Online Banking profile for this purpose, please contact Treasury Services Support starting July 25.
  • Customer Action Items

    • If you are a business customer using Atlantic Capital Online Banking for Direct Connect access to Quicken or QuickBooks, we recommend you perform a final transaction download before 5 p.m. ET on Friday, July 22, 2022.
    • On July 25, you will need to update your financial institution by disconnecting from Atlantic Capital and connecting to SouthState. If you do not perform this update the first time you connect to Quicken/QuickBooks, all of your financial information stored within these programs will not be transferred.
    • Detailed instructions are available on our website here to assist you.
  • What’s New

    • As of July 25, when reordering checks, you will receive SouthState checks.
  • Customer Action Items

    • Continue using your existing Atlantic Capital checks until you run out and need to reorder.
    • Please contact your banker or Treasury Sales Officer directly for assistance with any check orders after July 22, 2022.
  • Important Things to Know

    • If you are a Check Positive Pay customer and order your checks from somewhere other than the bank, please be sure you continue to use ABA routing number 061121025 on your checks.
  • What’s New

    • Using your current Atlantic Capital Debit Card, you can now make cash withdrawals at any SouthState ATM without incurring Foreign ATM fees. Find an ATM nearby at SouthStateBank.com/Locations.
    • You will receive a new SouthState Visa®2 Debit Card late summer/early fall.
    • Your new SouthState Debit Card will be contactless. This will enable you to make payments at any terminal displaying the contactless symbol by tapping or holding your card over the symbol – no need to insert or swipe your card.3
  • What's Changing

    • ACB Go! Smart Card will no longer be available after July 22, 2022.
    • Although SouthState does not currently offer debit card control capabilities, we strive to offer this functionality to customers in the future.
    • After the transition to SouthState, a Foreign ATM Fee of $3 will apply to all accounts for withdrawals made at non-SouthState Bank ATMs, including those in the Allpoint ATM Network. A fee from the ATM owner (including Allpoint) may also be charged. We encourage you to make a withdrawal at any SouthState branded ATM to avoid a Foreign ATM Fee.
  • Customer Action Items

    • Please continue to use your existing Atlantic Capital Debit Card until you receive your SouthState Debit Card.
  • Important Things to Know

    • If you have turned off your Atlantic Capital Debit Card using ACB Go! Smart Card, it will transition to SouthState as “on.” After July 22, if you need to suspend your debit card, please call SouthState Customer Care at (800) 277-2175.
Account Information FAQs

Account Information FAQs

Your accounts will transition to SouthState July 22-24, unless notified otherwise.

If your account number changes, you will receive notification in advance.

If you are a current Atlantic Capital Bank customer, once all accounts transition to SouthState, depending on the type of account you have, there may be changes to the account features. We encourage you to review the Account Information Booklet for detailed information regarding any changes to your account.

On July 25, 2022, the routing number for personal deposit accounts will change to 063114030. There should be no change in the routing number for your existing business account.

Yes, you will be able to access your loan in Treasury Navigator®. (If you have an SBA 7a, PPP or USDA loan, you can view your loan through SouthState Online Banking. You will need to enroll to view your loan.)

Yes. You will be able to transfers funds from your SouthState checking or savings account to make principal only and regular payments, as well as interest only payments. Please reference page 88 of the Account Information Booklet for a complete list of payment options.

Loan statements will be accessible in Treasury Navigator® for Commercial, however, an email will not be sent when it becomes available.

Should there be any changes to your loan, you will receive direct communication.

Your loan payment due date should remain the same, unless notified otherwise.

Yes. Unless you are notified otherwise, your loan payments will continue to be drafted from your account as they are today.

Direct deposits or automatic drafts you have set up with your business deposit account should continue without interruption. There should be no change in the routing number for your existing business deposit account.

Yes. Existing stop payments will convert to SouthState with the expiration date previously disclosed. Stop payments requested as of July 23, 2022, onward will be effective for six months unless you request to renew the stop payment before the end of the six-month period.

Business customers with Treasury Services through ACE will transition to Treasury Navigator® on Monday, July 25, after conversion weekend, July 22-24. You will receive detailed information about the changes to your Treasury Services or online banking experience in mid-June.

In order to for you to continue your selected services and to ensure you and/or any authorized users are able to access your accounts using Treasury Navigator®, you will need to review and agree to the SouthState Treasury Management Master Service Agreement. (The Agreement was sent via DocuSign to a designated authorized signer on March 31, 2022, and will continue to be sent multiple times after, until it is signed.)

Online Access/Treasury Navigator® FAQs

Business customers with Treasury Services through ACE will begin to transition to Treasury Navigator® July 25.

ACE will be retired at 9 p.m. ET Friday, July 22.

Yes. If you are an ACE for Treasury user, we encourage you to download the Treasury Navigator® Secure Browser now. Atlantic Capital systems will convert to SouthState in July, During the system conversion weekend (July 22-24), you will receive an Activation Key, which you will use to access Treasury Navigator®. Until you receive your Activation Key, continue to access your Atlantic Capital accounts as you do today.

Please follow the instructions in the Secure Browser Download Guide. This guide provides helpful information regarding the download process.

Please carefully review the Secure Browser Download Guide to ensure you meet the system and anti-virus compatibility requirements. Also, ensure you have administrative rights to your computer to install the Secure Browser. You may need the assistance of an IT representative from your company.

Over the system conversion weekend, July 22-July 24, you will receive your Treasury Navigator® Activation Key, which will allow you to access Treasury Navigator® and register a non-expiring PIN. You will use your PIN each time you log in to the Treasury Navigator® Secure Browser or Mobile App. Please note, you may choose to use the same PIN you used with ACE.

Continue to access your Atlantic Capital accounts as you do today. Over the system conversion weekend, July 22-July 24, you will receive your Treasury Navigator® Activation Key, which will allow you to access Treasury Navigator® and register a non-expiring PIN.

 

Your User ID will remain the same; however, you will be required to create a new password. You will receive detailed information regarding your login credentials and the login process when we combine Atlantic Capital’s and SouthState’s bank operating systems July 22 – July 24. Until then, continue accessing your accounts through ACE as you do today.

Statement and check images from January – April 2022 will be made available in Treasury Navigator®; however, this information may not be available the first time you log in. We will work as quickly as possible to make these statements and check images available to you.

By the end of August, statements and images prior to January 2022, as well as May - July 24, 2022 statements and images, will be available in Treasury Navigator®.

Lockbox services will be accessed through single sign-on from the Treasury Navigator® dashboard.

The reporting method for controlled disbursement accounts will change. Using the Balance Reporting feature within Treasury Navigator®, you will be able to retrieve the information needed for the current day. Create a new report with Checks Paid, along with the current day option. Generate the report by 11 a.m. to obtain controlled disbursement totals.

Some BAI2 file codes and descriptions will be updated. Please reference the chart available here to identify changes in how your transactions and account activity will display.

Wire transfer requests must be submitted in ACE by 4:30 p.m. ET on Friday, July 22, 2022 to be processed on schedule.

Wire Transfer templates will convert to Treasury Navigator®. Future dated wire transfers will not convert.

Yes. Listed below are the new Wire Transfer cut-off times (ET) effective Monday, July 25, 2022:

International Outgoing – 5 p.m.
Domestic Outgoing – 6 p.m.
Domestic and International Incoming – 6 p.m.

Wire Transfer notifications are called Wire Alerts and will only be sent to the email addresses of users who have been set up within Treasury Navigator®.

Additionally, available upon request in Treasury Navigator® for Commercial is a Wire Details Report, which provides a cumulative overview of all incoming and outgoing wires for the current day.

You will not need to modify incoming wire instructions for existing wire transfers. These should continue without interruption. However, beginning July 25, please be sure to include the following SouthState ABA/Routing Number in your incoming wire transfer instructions for net-new wire transfers: 063114030.

Wire requests must be completed online or in the branch. For security purposes, callback procedures will remain in place and may vary by customer and/or transaction amount.

If you initiate Wire Drawdowns in ACE (for example, payroll service bureaus), please be sure to notify your clients and the receiving financial institution that effective Monday, July 25, 2022, Wire Drawdowns will be received from SouthState with an ABA/Routing Number of 063114030. This update must be completed as of July 25 to avoid rejection of Wire Drawdown Requests.

All RDC deposits must be submitted by 6 p.m. ET on Friday, July 22, 2022. By July 25, RDC can be accessed through Treasury Navigator® just like it is in ACE. Existing RDC and mobile deposit limits will convert to Treasury Navigator®.

Yes. Beginning July 25, enabled customers will be able to deposit checks using the Treasury Navigator® Mobile App.

Please be sure to download and/or save any deposit transaction history and images you wish to keep for your records, prior to July 22, as it will not convert to Treasury Navigator®. Your RDC history will begin to build within Treasury Navigator® starting July 25 onward.

Yes. Your Bill Pay payees and payments will transfer to BillPay through Treasury Navigator®, including recurring payments and electronic bills (eBills).

If you use Bill Pay through ACE, you will be unable to initiate any new online bill payments beginning Friday, July 22, 2022, at 5 p.m. ET until the service becomes available within Treasury Navigator® on Monday morning, July 25. If you previously scheduled a bill to be paid during this time, it will still be paid as scheduled.

You will have access to six (6) months of bill payment history. Please print and/or save any additional history you may need prior to July 22.

Quicken® / QuickBooks® FAQs

I am a QuickBooks® user. How will the switch to Treasury Navigator® affect my access?

If you are a business customer using Atlantic Capital Online Banking for Direct Connect access to Quicken® or QuickBooks®, we recommend you perform a final transaction download before 5 p.m. ET on Friday, July 22.

Your Atlantic Capital Online Banking profile will convert to SouthState Online Banking. Please reference the Personal Banking/Small Business section of the booklet (pg. 19) for information regarding SouthState Online and Mobile Banking and Quicken/QuickBooks.

SouthState Treasury Navigator® supports Direct Connect through Quicken/QuickBooks. As of July 25, if you wish to use Quicken or QuickBooks Direct Connect via Treasury Navigator®, instead of maintaining a separate SouthState Online Banking profile for this purpose, please contact Treasury Services Support.

Debit Cards & Checks FAQs

Debit Cards & Checks FAQs

Yes. Continue banking as you do today, unless notified otherwise.

Yes. We will issue new SouthState Visa® Debit Cards to Atlantic Capital customers late summer/early fall. You will receive additional communication prior to receiving your new SouthState Debit Card.

Yes. As an Atlantic Capital customer, you will receive a new SouthState Debit Card with a new card number. Additional communication will be sent to customers prior to receiving their new card.

Customers will be required to activate and set a PIN when they receive their new SouthState Debit Card. They can choose to use the same PIN as their old Atlantic Capital Debit Card.

Yes. You will be able to use Apple, Samsung or Google Pay with your new SouthState card.

Atlantic Capital customers will receive a contactless SouthState Debit Card. With a contactless debit card, you can make payments at any contactless-enabled terminal without swiping or inserting your card. Look for the contactless symbol   on a card terminal and tap or hold your card over the symbol to pay.

Protecting our customers is our top priority. We constantly monitor debit card transactions for suspicious activity.

We will make every attempt to notify you if we identify unusual transaction activity with your debit card.

No. Beginning July 25, a Foreign ATM Fee of $3 will apply to all accounts for non-SouthState Bank ATM withdrawals. A fee from the ATM owner, including Allpoint, may also be charged. We encourage you to visit any of our over 300 ATMs located throughout Florida, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Virginia. Visit SouthStateBank.com/Locations to find an ATM near you.

If you don’t have an ATM nearby, we’ve found that many retailers, like grocery stores and drug stores, offer a cash back option at checkout. You will not incur a fee when requesting cash back.

You will not receive new checks. Please continue using your existing Atlantic Capital checks until you run out.

After the transition to SouthState, if you need to order new checks, you will receive SouthState checks at that time.

SouthState checks for personal accounts can be ordered through SouthState Online or Mobile Banking, by calling SouthState Customer Care at (800) 277-2175, by visiting a local SouthState branch, or through SouthState Phone Banking at (800) 763-0555.

For business accounts, we encourage you to call your local banker or Treasury Sales Officer directly with assistance with checks orders after July 22.

After the transition to SouthState, please call us and we will be happy to assist you with updating your information for your next check order.
