I’ve received the error “Sorry, we can’t read that check”. What can I do to fix the issue?

  • Ensure that the image of the check is clear
  • Ensure all four corners are inside the guide markers
  • Have good lighting with no shadows covering the check
  • If the check is wrinkled, make sure to flatten it before taking a picture
  • Ensure there is good contrast between the check and the background surface
