SouthState Welcomes New Virginia Mortgage Leaders

RICHMOND, Virginia – December 14, 2023 – SouthState Bank welcomes three new mortgage bankers to its Richmond region. Each brings a wealth of knowledge and experience assisting potential homeowners in securing loans that fit their needs.
Chip Beveridge, regional sales manager, serves potential Virginia homeowners with 40 years of mortgage lending experience. He has a long history of excellence in the Mid-Atlantic markets. Beveridge shared his expertise as a board member and officer of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington and Virginia MBA for 25 years. He currently serves on the education, convention and legislative committees for VMBA. He’s also a past president of the Virginia Mortgage Bankers Association.
SouthState also welcomes two new mortgage bankers, Tim Spaniol and Greg Everett.
Tim Spaniol has a passion for empowering individuals on their path to homeownership. Specializing in working with first-time homebuyers, he can guide them through the intricacies of the homebuying process and develop creative financing solutions when needed. Spaniol holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salisbury University.
Greg Everett is a seasoned mortgage banker with over 30 years of experience and specializes in helping first-time homebuyers and those needing construction loans. His proficiency extends to the SouthState portfolio loan products, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of diverse financial instruments in the mortgage industry. In the Alexandria community, Everett is a member of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA) and a youth baseball coach. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Maine.
