Forgiveness applications will be accepted electronically through our self-service, digital PPP Forgiveness Platform.

An email has been sent to the primary authorized representative on each PPP loan to begin the application process through our self-service, digital PPP Forgiveness Platform. If you are an authorized signer and have not received an email to begin the online application, you can begin by clicking the above link. Should you have any questions, please call Paycheck Protection Program Support at (844) 238-9452.

Begin your Application

  • Log in to the platform using your original PPP loan amount, the primary authorized representative’s email address and the business EIN. Neither the SBA Loan number or the South State Loan number is required to complete the online application. 
    • Complete the initial application questions to be directed to the application (Standard or EZ) that applies to your business.
    • Complete the online application in the platform. If you prepared by completing your calculations using a paper version of the application, please reference your paper application to key in your information.
      • Please note, the order in which information is entered into the online application may differ from the paper application; however, the information is the same.

  • Prior to uploading supporting documentation, a Forgiveness Amount and any Forgiveness Gap (remaining loan balance) will be displayed inside of the platform after completing the online application.
  • Upload supporting documents for payroll costs and eligible non-payroll costs and submit the final application for bank review.

  • Per SBA guidelines, South State has up to 60 days to review and verify the application and forgiveness amount.
  • We will contact you via email for missing supporting documents or to correct any information on the application.

  • When the bank review is complete, we will send you an email to electronically sign the application.
  • Use the last 4 digits of your SSN to authenticate in DocuSign and complete the signing process.
  • A DocuSign confirmation email will be sent to you and allow you to view your signed application.
  • Should you need assistance with DocuSign, please reference the DocuSign Instructions.

  • SouthState will submit your application to the SBA.
  • The SBA has up to 90 days to review and render a final decision regarding your PPP forgiveness application.
  • You will be able to view status updates from the SBA within the PPP Forgiveness platform.
