Enhancements to Online Banking Now Available

We’re excited to announce updates to your Online Banking1 experience. To help you navigate these upgrades, we have outlined the changes below.

With our new Online Banking upgrade, there will be several changes to the Login screen on our homepage.

  • Access ID is now called Username
  • Your Username and Password are entered on the same screen
  • Enhanced security features include two ways to verify your identity: One-time Password or Security Challenge questions

Home Screen

The Home Screen is the first page you see after logging in to Online Banking. We are making functionality improvements to make your online banking experience easier and more convenient. Some of the improvements include:

  • QuickPay is now called BillPay
  • Make any type of South State account transfer from the main screen
  • Pending Transactions is now Recent Transactions. Now you will see 10 of the most recent transactions for each account.
  • Alerts have moved to the top corner, but the process to set up or change your alerts has not changed
  • Secure Message is now called Mail and can be accessed from the top corner of the Home Screen
  • The ability to edit Account Nicknames
  • Determine accounts to hide or show and the order they appear on the Home Screen

Account Services

Account Services is now Profile. Under your Profile you can:

  • Enroll in eStatements and Mobile Banking2
  • Update your email address
  • Change your Password
  • Update Security Challenge questions
  • Verify phone number. If you need to update your phone number, please call (800) 277-2175.


Finding past transactions is also easier.

  • View all past transactions on the same screen
  • 10 most recent transactions available on home screen
  • Search by amount, date or name
  • Filter by scheduled, pending and past transactions
  • Export all transactions by selecting Download on the account page


You now have three locations to initiate internal transfers:

  • From the Home Screen in the top navigation
  • Within the Account Information page
  • From the Account View on the Home Screen
  • Please note, you can only initiate Bank to Bank transfers from the top navigation button
