Mia Mendez is the Wealth Associate for SouthState at the San Marco branch. She is responsible for providing prompt, professional service and administrative support for clients.
Mia attended Georgia State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Prior to joining SouthState in 2023, she spent 17 years serving customers in a variety of banking roles, including starting as a Banker Assistant & Foreclosure specialist with First Citizens Bank in Alpharetta, GA. Mia joined BB&T Wealth (Truist) as a Wealth Support Specialist on the Jacksonville Wealth team in the fall of 2012.
Mia and her husband Mariano live in Jacksonville, FL with their eight-year-old son. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
