Karen Dorsey

Karen Dorsey is a Senior Mortgage Banker with Southstate Bank, residing in Boca Raton, Florida. Karen graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1979 and has been a Mortgage Broker since 1993. Over the years, Karen has worked in almost every position in the mortgage industry, including closing, processing, underwriting, and originating. Her experience and proficiency in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, FHA, and Jumbo Portfolio loans have helped her assist countless borrowers in achieving their dream of homeownership.

Karen has been a licensed Mortgage Broker since 1993 and a licensed Realtor since 2002. She also owned her own mortgage brokerage firm from 1997 to 2006. She is a member of the Palm Beach Realtor Association and has achieved top producer several times throughout her career.

Aside from her professional work, Karen is also actively involved in the community. She is a board member of Consolidated Credit and Journey to Empowerment and a volunteer member of the Dania Beach Improvement Committee. She enjoys reading, doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren, and bike riding.
