About Gwen Childress
Gwen has over 20 years of experience working in the mortgage industry. Gwen began working with SouthState in 1999 as a mortgage loan processor and then a year later became a Mortgage Banker. Gwen believes her experience as a processor, working closely with underwriters and understanding the process from start to finish has been a huge part of her success as an originator. Gwen has extensive experience working with conventional, government, and construction to perm loans. Gwen's passion is making homeownership dreams come true and making the process as smooth as possible. When Gwen is not working, she loves spending time with her 2 children.
