An overdraft line of credit1 is an unsecured line of credit, with a limit of $1,000 – $4,999, for the purpose of overdraft protection for any SouthState personal checking account.

How It Works:
If your checking account balance goes below $0, available funds from your line of credit in increments of $100.00 will automatically be transferred to cover the overdraft amount.
