SouthState Expands Dallas Middle Market Group

DALLAS – September 23, 2026 – SouthState (NYSE: SSB) announces the hiring of two additional bankers to strengthen its middle market banking group in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Sam Manohar – middle market relationship manager – has joined SouthState as senior vice president and relationship manager at its Dallas Uptown location. With more than 20 years of middle market banking experience spanning credit, treasury management, and relationship development, he will serve companies with annual revenues generally ranging from $50 million to $500 million, including privately held, owner-operated and sponsor-backed businesses across Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas. Manohar will focus on delivering comprehensive financial solutions that help businesses pursue sustainable growth, improve operational efficiency, and achieve long-term success. His relationship-first approach reflects SouthState’s commitment to local market leadership and its belief that meaningful, lasting relationships are more valuable than any single transaction.
Ryan Wark – middle market relationship manager – has joined SouthState as senior vice president relationship manager at the Dallas Uptown location. With 15 years of financial industry experience, he specializes in providing middle-market companies with customized credit and treasury solutions that drive growth, improve efficiency and support long-term success. Wark looks forward to collaborating with North Texas business leaders to deliver strategic solutions that support their goals. He joins SouthState Bank from Huntington National Bank.
