Tollison Named to LPL Ambassador Council
5/20/2024
Tollison, director of business strategy with SouthState Investment Services in Greenville, is one of 60 members selected from among nearly 23,000 LPL advisors and institution leaders nationwide. Advisors are selected for one of three councils designated by their affiliation with LPL.
At SouthState, Tollison manages financial consultants throughout the Southeast, helps drive and implement the strategic direction for the team, and provides advice and guidance to Investment Services clients. He is passionate about comprehensive financial planning and works to build a customized strategy for each client that addresses their retirement, income, investment, insurance and long-term priorities.
Through his role on the Ambassador Council, Tollison will serve as a voice for LPL’s broad advisor base and help deepen relationships with the highly dedicated financial professionals. Council members are important assets to LPL as they are closely connected to LPL’s strategic roadmap and key executives.
Council members serve a multi-year term and attend a series of in-person meetings during their tenure. They also contribute through year-round ad hoc participation supporting LPL media relations opportunities and other communications, events and initiatives, and by connecting with LPL colleagues on an ongoing basis to ensure their perspectives are brought forward.
Tollison is active in the Greenville community as a board member for the Tribble Center Special Needs Foundation and a Producer Circle member for Euphoria Greenville Food and Wine Festival.
