New account alerts will be available in SouthState Online and Mobile Banking beginning Wednesday, May 25.

Many of these new alerts will be delivered in real time and include more detailed information to assist you with monitoring your account activity.

Yes. You will need to re-enroll in alerts.

On Wednesday, May 25, log in to SouthState Online and Mobile Banking to view all the new alert options and begin to re-enroll. To get started:

  1. Log in to Online Banking at SouthStateBank.com or the Mobile App.
  2. On the right-hand navigation, click Manage Alerts.
  3. Click Manage Account Alerts.
  4. Accept the Real-Time Alerts Terms & Conditions.
  5. Toggle each contact method you want to enable to ON.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Enter the confirmation codes that were sent to each contact method.
  8. Click Verify next to the contact method after you input the confirmation code.
  9. Click Close.
  10. Choose the alert you wish to enable.
  11. Toggle the alert to ON.
  12. Check the box next to the contact method you prefer.
  13. Click Add.

 

The new alerts will be delivered via email or text message. Security alerts will continue to be delivered via phone, email, text message or push notification depending on the option you’ve selected.

Yes. This update will provide a more robust list of alerts for you to choose from, and many alerts will be delivered in real time. To assist you with selecting an alert that is comparable to one of your current account alerts, we’ve provided a comparison of the existing and new alerts below.

No. Security alerts will not be affected by this update. You will remain enrolled in your current security alerts and delivery options.
