Mark Davis

Mark is the Small Business Banker for SouthState in the Richmond Metro area of Virginia. He is responsible for building and managing banking relationships with small businesses throughout the Richmond area and supporting their entire business banking needs including working capital, deposits and cashflow management. In addition, he can assist business owners with personal banking and cashflow management needs as well.
Mark attended James Madison University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration with focus on marketing and economics. Prior to joining SouthState in 2024, Mark developed his love for entrepreneurs working for over 15 years in both the wireless industry even helping to launch a wireless start-up company and then working as a small business consultant prior to starting his banking career. He began his banking career in 2010 serving customers in a variety of banking roles at large regional banks including personal relationship banking, branch management, small business development and financial wellness.
Mark lives in Chesterfield, Virginia with his wife. He enjoys serving in his church and playing golf and pickleball in his free time.
