Ben Chambers
Ben Chambers joined the Private Banking Team in May of 2016. Ben was hired to build and implement the Healthcare Banking Platform that exists today to help Dental, Medical & Veterinary practice owners with Practice Acquisitions, Expansions, Buy-ins, Buy-outs, Real Estate and Equipment Financing.
Prior to South State Bank, Ben spent nearly 11 years with RBC and PNC Bank who merged in early 2012. Ben's last 5 years at PNC were spent in the Healthcare Banking Group. Ben holds his Bachelor's Degree from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Ben is actively involved his community. He serves as Vice President on the Board for the Ballantyne Ball, which is a 501(c)(3) organization that showcases a masquerade gala focused on community and charity at the Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte. As Ballantyne's signature annual gala, it is their mission to partner with the local community to unmask impactful charitable causes in our own backyard. Ben also is an active member of the South Charlotte Rotary Club, as well as the Co-Founder and President of Carolinas Dental Advisors, which is a group of advisors who’s mission is to provide business resources for all types of dental professionals in North and South Carolina. www.carolinasdentaladvisors.com
Outside of the office Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
