Carissa Adams

Carissa Adams is a Premier Private Banker, First Vice President for SouthState Bank in Pensacola, Florida. She helps high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and professionals navigate complex financial decisions through a personalized private banking approach. Carissa works closely with clients to develop customized lending, deposit, treasury, and wealth strategies designed to help them create, grow, preserve, and transfer wealth. She also collaborates with SouthState Wealth, Trust, Treasury Management, and Credit professionals to deliver comprehensive financial solutions tailored to each client’s unique goals. With nearly 10 years of banking experience, Carissa has developed a well-rounded understanding of both commercial and private banking. She began her career as a Lending Assistant and advanced through roles including CRE Portfolio Manager and Commercial Banking Officer before joining the Premier Private Client Group in 2026. Carissa has also been actively involved in the Pensacola community through volunteer service with local arts organizations and previously served as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for Ballet Pensacola, Inc. Carissa resides in Santa Rosa County, Florida, with her husband and their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, serving through her church, and spending time with family and friends.
