Darius Chase

As a 15 year veteran of the banking and finance industry, Darius Chase is a Premier Private Banker specializing in Healthcare Finance, Commercial Lending, Relationship Banking, Credit Analysis, and Home Lending Products. Darius joined SouthState Bank 2017 after holding the position of Private Banker, and Retail Market Executive with First Citizens Bank, where he was responsible for market growth and development in the Charlotte area. Darius has had mentoring roles with the 100 Black Men of Charlotte and served as President of the Charlotte Regional Mortgage Lenders Association. Throughout his career Darius has supported and facilitated drives for the Loaves & Fishes, Bed for Kids, The Red Cross, Second Harvest, and Toys for Tots. Originally from New Jersey, Darius moved to Charlotte in 1999 to attend UNC Charlotte where he received his bachelors degree in Financial Management in 2002. Darius and his wife, Renia, make their home in the Waxhaw, NC. They have two daughters and their dog Max. When not working, Darius can be found golfing or watching UNC Charlotte 49ers and Carolina Panthers games with his family.
