Deedie is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor for South State Private Wealth, based in Columbia. She is responsible for proactively delivering comprehensive, advice-based financial solutions to her clientele. Deedie has many years of experience and a deep expertise in Trust Administration.

Deedie began her career in the Trust industry in 1982 as a Trust Advisor and has continued in that capacity ever since. She joined South State Bank in 2010. Deedie is a member of the Columbia Estate Planning Council, as well as a member of the South Carolina Bankers Association where she served on the Trust Committee for several years. After attending Columbia College where she studied Business, Deedie graduated from Cannon Financial Institute and holds a Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor designation (CTFA®).

Deedie is a past Chairman of the Hospice Board of Palmetto Health Baptist (formerly Baptist Medical Center). She is a member of Shandon Presbyterian Church where she served on the Hospitality Committee. At her former church, she served as Co-Chairman for the Stewardship Committee.

A native of Columbia, SC, Deedie and her husband Danny have two adult sons. She enjoys boating, spending time with her family, walking, socializing with friends, travel and, most of all, playing with her two granddaughters.
