George S. King Jr
George began his career in the financial services industry in the early 1990s working for several regional and national banks both as a Private and Commercial Banker. In 1999, he joined a national financial services firm as a Financial Advisor. And in 2009, George joined SouthState Bank.
George is a Board Member of Prisma Health, a Board Member of the United Way of the Midlands, a prior Board Member of Palmetto Health, and the Richland Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, past Member of the Board of Directors of Trinity Housing Corporation, past President and Board Member of the Palmetto Baseball League, and past Chair and Member of Leadership Columbia.
George and his wife, Beatrice, have three children and live in Columbia.
