James Whitehead

James Whitehead was born and raised in North Augusta, South Carolina. James joined the Private banking team in 2023 after spending 5 years as a Branch Manager, most recently at the Martinez Columbia Rd office.

James is a current Board Member for the Augusta Symphony and also serves on their nominating Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors for North Augusta Forward, The Young Professionals of Augusta and is a Co-Chair on the Leadership North Augusta Committee.

For 12 years, James has volunteered with The Vets to Washington Project, an organization that takes Veterans of World War II, Korea and Vietnam to Washington D.C. to tour the monuments and museums dedicated to our Veterans.

James graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Business from Southern Wesleyan University in 2017.
