About Jason Walker CIMA®, CTFA, AEP®
Since 2001, he has been instrumental in helping individuals and families navigate complex investment decisions, with a focus on long-term portfolio strategy, trust administration, and estate and tax planning, applying a disciplined investment approach grounded in extensive industry experience.
Before joining SouthState, Jason served as a Senior Vice President and Trust Portfolio Manager in Pensacola, Florida, where he advised clients on investment strategy and fiduciary planning. His experience also includes earlier roles within the trust and wealth management industry, managing diversified portfolios and supporting high-net-worth clients with integrated financial solutions.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University and a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida. He has furthered his professional education through advanced industry training and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), and Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designations.
Dedicated to community service, Jason has held board and leadership positions with the Estate Planning Council of Northwest Florida and the Estate Planning Council of the Emerald Coast, where he previously served as president. He has also contributed to local civic and professional organizations, including service on a municipal planning commission and involvement with regional alumni organizations.
