Kathryn began her career with a national public accounting firm in Greenville, SC in 1999 and earned her designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2001. Kathryns career in public accounting centered around wealth transfer tax planning, income tax planning, philanthropic planning, business succession planning and financial planning. She also assisted clients as a Wealth Planning Strategist for a regional bank.A graduate of Clemson University, Kathryn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master in Professional Accountancy.
She is also a graduate of the Riley Institute at Furman's Fall 2016 Diversity Leaders Initiative Class.Kathryn serves on the board of the Charleston Estate Planning Council and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Bankers Association. She is also a past board member of YESCarolina and a former mentor with the College of Charlestons MBA program.
Kathryn is a native of Mount Pleasant, SC and lives there now with her husband and their three children. She enjoys living in one of the most scenic places in the world and spending time with her family.
