Kelly D. Gardner, CPA, CPC

Kelly is the Director of Retirement Plan Services for SouthState. She works with a team of Plan Consultants to provide Administration, Compliance, Investment Fiduciary and Recordkeeping Platform services to clients and participants. She has been with the company since 1999 focusing her attention on developing, implementing and managing retirement plan benefit programs intentionally designed to meet the goals of plan sponsors and their employees. Prior to beginning her career in retirement services, she worked at Duke Energy in subsidiary accounting, mergers and acquisitions and financial reporting. Kelly is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Charlotte with a B.S in Accounting and is a CPA licensed in both South and North Carolina. In addition, she holds the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designations through the American Retirement Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
