Leslie Watts

Leslie is Vice President, Private Banker at SouthState Bank in Huntsville. She provides personalized banking and lending solutions through a single point of contact, delivering thoughtful guidance, responsive service, and customized solutions designed around each client's unique goals while connecting clients with comprehensive wealth management and advisory resources to support their financial needs. Leslie brings extensive banking experience and a relationship-focused approach to her role at SouthState. She attended the University of North Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Prior to joining SouthState in 2026, Leslie served clients in a variety of banking roles, beginning as a teller and advancing through branch management, business banking, treasury management services, and private banking. She is committed to serving as a trusted financial partner and helping clients navigate both personal and business financial decisions. Leslie is actively involved in the community, serving on the Boards of Directors for the Land Trust of North Alabama and UCP of Huntsville. She is a graduate of Leadership Greater Huntsville Connect Class 25, a member of the Women's Economic Development Council, and was recognized as one of the Huntsville Business Journal's 2026 Top 40 Under 40. Leslie lives in Huntsville, Alabama, with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, long-distance running, playing mahjong, and volunteering at her children's school.
