Mike Maguire, CFP®

Mike Maguire is a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor with SouthState Wealth in Jacksonville, FL. Prior to joining SouthState in May of 2023, Mike spent 16 years with BB&T and managed their Wealth division in North Florida for the last ten years. In addition, Mike's career background includes 23 years of experience with Barnett Bank in various leadership roles throughout the State of Florida.
Mike earned a BSBA in Finance from the University of Central Florida and is a graduate of the ABA's National Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma. Always active in the community, Mike's past community activities include being Chairman of The Blood Alliance, Chairman of Enterprise North Florida, Vice Chairman of Brooks Health Foundation, a board member of The Guardian Catholic Schools as well as serving as an Advisory Board Member for The University of Florida's Bergstrom School of Real Estate Finance. Mike is also a Leadership Jacksonville graduate and currently serves on the Gator Bowl Committee, The Coastal Blood Foundation Board and Chairs both the Literacy Alliance of Northeast Florida and the Catholic Foundation board for the Diocese of St. Augustine. Mike is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida. Mike is currently a 63 gallon blood donor.
Mike and his wife Nancy have three adult daughters and have made their home in the San Marco area of Jacksonville for the last 26 years.
