Trent Thompson

Trent Thompson has over 20 years banking experience and joined the South State Bank team in February of 2014. Assisting personal and commercial clients, Trent is focused on providing superior customer service and banking solutions to to meet their needs. Trent grew up in Spartanburg and then moved to the coast where he graduated from the College of Charleston. He loves to travel with his wife, Kirsten, and their three boys. When not in the office, he spends much of his time at the baseball fields, playing golf or guitar. He is a member of Northside Baptist Church and is past president of his Rotary club where he currently serves as treasurer.
