Virginia Self, CWS®

Virginia Self began her banking career in 2013 as a SouthState Bank retail branch team member. Through her unparalelled leadership and determination, Virginia joined the Private Banking group in 2018. She brings her retail banking experience and passionate attitude to give each client the attention and guidance needed to help them reach their financial goals. Virginia strives to build lasting relationships with both her personal and commercial clients. Virginia is a native Charlottean and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is an active member of the North Carolina Young Bankers and an advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and a Certified Wealth Strategist® on SouthState Bank's Premier Private Banking Team. In her personal time, Virginia enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
