Customer Information
Key Reminders
- ATMs. Withdrawals at non-Independent Financial and non-SouthState Bank ATMs, including those within the MoneyPass ATM network, will be assessed a $3 Foreign ATM Fee (unless account disclosure indicates otherwise). A fee from the ATM owner (including MoneyPass ATMs) may also be charged.
- Branches. Independent Financial is now SouthState. You will begin to see signage changes at branch locations throughout the coming weeks. If searching for a branch online, you may see it listed as permanently closed. This is only because Independent Financial branches are now SouthState branches. Visit SouthStateBank.com/Locations for a complete list of our branch locations and hours.
- Checks. Unless otherwise instructed, continue to use your Independent Financial checks until your supply is depleted. Check orders placed on or after Tuesday, May 27, will be fulfilled with SouthState checks.
- Credit Cards. You should have recently received your new SouthState Credit Card. Your card number remains the same, but your expiration date and security code have changed. You are still able to access your card from myaccountaccess.com in addition to SouthState Online and Mobile Banking.
- Debit Cards. Continue to use your Independent Financial Debit Card until you receive your new SouthState Debit Card. We will issue new SouthState Visa Debit Cards over the coming months. More information will be shared closer to your card reissue.
- Digital Banking. You can now log in to SouthState Online and Mobile Banking or Treasury Navigator®.
